Selecting Paint Color

Selecting Paint Color

The bad news is that Monday I will be telling a new client they should totally repaint their new Marco Island Condo. The other bad news is they just had it painted, a terrible color. The entire place, every wall in every room bathrooms included are a fleshy, muddy, greige, an impossible color to work with. The good news is if you hire me first I'll save you money when selecting the exact right shade!
As a color expert I can help you to make the most of a beautifully designed room or to dramatically trick the eye to create impact in a space that doesn't have any.

Easy Beachy Condo Storage

Easy Beachy Condo Storage

The style may not be right, the color may not be your choice, and the use could be different but either way this idea might be a good one for you! Let's face it condos are notorious for lack of storage, this cute idea might be just right for that need. I could see it in the tiny guest baths or maybe the little bity laundry rooms. All you need is a thrift store find, a little paint, and some ingenuity and wa la! Enjoy! Good day and God Bless!

Chalk Paint

Chalk Paint

So much is being said about chalk paint, many designers are creating their own labels and colors. Currently I'm loving Annie Sloan's line. Notice on this piece the complexity of the specialist painting and yet the simplicity of the completion. Refinishing furniture can be a real artform and this one is a beauty! This is her color coco that has been glazed, highlighted, and then waxed. Sometimes a simple coat of paint will suffice, other times an artist with high end product is best.

Refinishing For Beachy Fun!

Refinishing For Beachy Fun!

Garage sale treasures can be just the right thing for creating a beachy fun styled room. Paying very little for a piece makes it easy to be courageous so go for it! Pick a bright perky color like this glazed fushia. The rest of the room should be neutral with a spash of a cool color such as green or turquoise. Let the beachy fun begin.
