A recently completed project with focus on pool side living.
My client requested an outdoor living space that works as an extension of their inside interiors, together we created this beautiful area. Thank you Jack and Joyce!

To me, there is no better moment when designing a room for a client than to make a suggestion that they truly would have never thought of and that they adore. This under the stair shelving detail represents one of those moments. The movement of the beautifully crafted wood along with the contrast in color makes this a work of art. In addition, all the of the design elements included in the staircase along with this shelving beauty makes this space more than meaningful. It makes the space a part of the room rather than an annex.

Good afternoon design lovers! I am so happy today, there are many reasons however it is the trend in interior design that has me smiling the most. Finally, tasteful modern classic interiors are being respected and requested once again. Not that I was not a willing participant in the 50 shades of grey, metal legs, and cold fabrics; I had to be, many clients wanted that. Hallelujah those days are over. Now we can return to beautiful hand crafted wood pieces that are truly timeless, warm tones, with a bit of romance.

What I love about my job is meeting people from all walks of life and all over the globe. My goals always are to learn from them what their vision is for their residence, to determine a well-planned design criteria. When I meet clients who do not want sleek chic but instead luscious classic styling I get excited. Creating well-appointed rooms using layers of fabric designs and wallpaper brings out the best in me. Rooms like this cannot be done from a showroom, they take real talent and creativity and planning. Of course, I adore wallpaper and have never stopped using it.
